I've rewatched and I can't tell if the brunette SIN in the room says "You!" or "No!" when she sees the Mysterious Blonde. That one word makes a big difference. "No" just might mean she doesn't want to go back to being trapped in Hell. But if she said "you", then -- we just got a little more complicated and twisty.

I agree that if the blonde was the daughter of the hunter Sam killed, she wouldn't be saving his ass. I really do like the idea that she's a demon that sees Sam as a kindred spirit in need of protection, and feeds into the "Sam came back wrong" idea (if the YED was speaking the truth and not just sowing lies of distrust)

Don't know that Blondie as successor to YED means SAM came back wrong. Seems like both Dead!Dad and YED always thought there was a good chance that Sam would go wrong just as he was.

I was dozing on a plane and thinking Winchestery thoughts today and as many issues as I can have with the show, I am going to see where it goes and let them break my heart if it comes to that. Well, maybe make it a little ouchy and then reconsider. But I still want to see where these boys' journey goes, you know? I want to see how it ends. And hopefully not for several more years.
