Okay. Rewatch, and CW-Obligatory Blonde Bimbo is a third-billed regular. This isn't recurring. This is in your face every week long blond curls and boobs and Barbie face.
Give me Aeryn Sun and Zoe Washburn and I'll wave pompoms and eat it up with a spoon. I don't think 20-year-old third-generation showbiz baby has the chops, and she gives me serious eyeroll.
If she doesn't ante up and I can't mentally edit her out of my show, I'll just have to content myself with S1&2 dvds. Because this is giving me serious misgivings.
Beverly - interviews with Kripke say that she will be in 12 episodes.
Hey now, some of us LIKE Blondie.
She doesn't really have a Barbie face at all. Barbie faces are soft, with perky little noses, round eyes, and apple cheeks, and KC's face isn't like that. It's almost masculine, but not in the typical way with the heavy broad jaw. Her nose is strong, heck, her whole face is made of interesting angles, with teeth slightly too large for her mouth and her narrow, almost sleepy eyes. She's not exactly pretty, not in the traditional sense, but she's appealling.
She looks like a younger Felicity Huffman.
Hedging his bets, I guess.
I'm really trying not to prejudge. She just shouldn't look like...Barbie, if they want us to take her seriously. I don't get deadly off her. I get hair product.
In deference to Plei, I'll try not to use Barbie as a descriptor.
And it's good she appeals to some of the audience, if it helps keep the show on the air. I was just expecting something a bit more believeably tough and experienced.

I am hoping that the more I see her, the less she'll give me a Kristen Bell vibe because while I am sure she's smart as Veronica Mars, I don't see her taking down demons. [obligatory, I don't watch VM comment here so I'm only giving my general sense of a character on a show I didn't watch.]
Then again, we've seen really nothing of her so far. We just know that Sam's Nose knows she's watching him.
So I'm waiting to see.
Yeah, kinda catnip. Not my usual brand of it, but one of the subvarieties, for sure.
She gives me no Kristen Bell vibe at all. I find Kristen Bell to be blandly unattractive. And she moves differently.
Actually, for all that she's blonde, KC's moves and motions remind me more of Eliza's than anyone else.
YOu know no catnip here - but nothing that makes me believe she can't kill demons either. Heck I believed it when she did it, and delivered the "I saved your ass" line believably. Absolutely nothing like Barbie, I'm certainly willing to give her a chance as a bad-ass demon hunter or demon or mysterious stranger where we don't know what side she is on for a while.

I wasn't thinking Veronica, but I completely heard Buffy saying the dialogue. I didn't think I would, but the bit we have seen, I like her. I'm not interested enough to have her take much screen time from either brother, but I'm liking her much more than I thought. Dude, if she's in a spin-off, I'm there! I like her better than the woman playing the Bionic woman and KC only had a few minutes on screen.
With David Cassidy's daughter on set, maybe the boys can pick up some good life lessons about how to deal with all the fan attention. Not that they aren't handling it well, just she would be able to put some perspective on it for them.
