Because books.

It amuses how sleeping-naked people are always conveniently wrapped in an untucked sheet when they sit up.

Do you put the bullets IN the clip?

Yeah, the bullets all stack in the clip, and then the clip slides into the gun.

Because books.

You're right, too -- the clip tapping thing is HOT for no good reason.

Man, Sam's gun seems really huge.

(Oh, stop it.)

Maybe it's just cause he's carrying it around in close quarters.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I was about to say the same thing about sheet-wrapped sleeping people on teevee.

Automatics are superior to revolvers because you load the clip with bullets, and then can have multiple clips (full of bullets) to load into the pistol. There's always one in the chamber and ready to go, though. So pulling the clip doesn't completely disarm the weapon.

Dean tapping the clip on the gun is just something JA came up with. He may have missed loading it once and somebody thought it looked cool, and now it's become his trademark.

thereby exposing his neck in the Trademark Winchester Sign of Vulnerability.
And yet? Not strangled this time. I think the writers missed a perfectly good "strangle Sam" opportunity and that is just not like them at all.

You're right, too -- the clip tapping thing is HOT for no good reason.
It really is.

Maybe they thought he had suffered enough.

Which, now that I say that, is also not like them at all.

Because everybody in San Francisco has a big living room with a completely empty closet. Right?

We should check and see if they're feeling okay.
