Not that I've watched this scene obsessively.
Sam's eyes roll up as he goes to his knees. He breathes out, hard. As Dean reaches him his eyes are open, and after the first cut to Dean's face and back to Sam, Sam's eyes cut to the right. I think that's his last moment of consciousness. He may have taken another breath or two, but his eyes close and he doesn't support his head, or any of his weight at all himself, after that. Dean's talking to a dead man before he gets to "I gotcha."
At least the way that scene breaks down for me.
Are we holding off on Roadkill? Was that the concensus? Either way is fine with me.
In 15? Is it just you and me, Austin?
Smonster? still here? Which vid were you talking about? Women's Work?
I'm here and I'm up for a watch.
At least the way that scene breaks down for me.
Your description broke me almost as much as the scene. Damn. That was just wrong Kripke.
Kripke definitely is an alumni of the Joss Whedon/Tim Minear School of Pain.
Cool. Just say go when you get back. ::runs off for drink::
Okay, in 10?
Yah. I'm not really a masochist. It's how I process. Break it down, find the beats, see what he did there, where's he looking, what's he doing with his hand, oh, that person in the next scene crossed here--set up for next scene. I'm a freak, I admit it. I rarely just watch.
I'm here but headed out. Yeah, I was talking about Women's Work. It was the Ava thing.
Y'all enjoy. I just wanted to curl up in the comfy chair for a bit.
Was the YED the marshal on Lost?
O ye of fannish youth! He was the human witness/friend of Jesse Martin's alien Negro Leagues baseball player on The X-Files, long long ago. (Probably 1998.)
