The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Jilli, I've been earwormed too, but I actually love that song.

I actually really like that song, and some other stuff off that album. I just have issues with Courtney Love.

If they are the ones to finally use the holy water pistols they will win. Just win.

Not if they have a comparative religion consultant on the payroll. IIRC, according to Roman Catholic doctrine holy water has to be transported in vials especially consecrated for the purpose or it deconsecrates itself upon being removed from the font and touching anything else. They'd be squirting normal tap water. Communion wine, however, might theoretically retain its holiness.

Until Dean drank it, anyway.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Considering John was able to create holy water, I'm thinking they're playing fast and loose with the holy water rules.

eta: What is it with me and the numberDeans?!?

Hmmm. I wonder if the show canon allows for one of those ordination-by-mail setups to result in a member of the clergy that can perform sacraments that are metaphysically valid?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Not if they have a comparative religion consultant on the payroll.

Given the fast-and-loose Houses of the Holy stuff, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that SPN religion involves copious amounts of Handwavium.

It might be too much handwavium, but I've gotta say that if it ends up that once Sam got them all online ordinations, and therefore all Winchesters can create holy water, I might pee my pants.

Oh, man, thanks for the link to Monkeycrackmary's essay on SPN and BtVS. That was awesome.
