Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I mean, Andy was good with the powers he had and loved his life until his evil twin and those pesky Winchesters showed up. Until then he had no motivation to - or reason to even consider - improve them.

Good point. I'm just sort of casting around as to how the demon blood might have affected the chosen ones, and what sort of lingering effect it might have on Sam, or what Sam's death and/or the demon's death might do WRT the whole powers issue.

One thing is for sure. Now that the demon planted the idea in Dean's brain, Dean is not going to be able to get rid of the idea, is he? Which kind of kills my earlier thought that we might get a more relaxed Dean this coming season.

Each brother is hiding something from the other: (I think) Sam doesn't know what the YED said to Dean, and Dean doesn't know about the vision the YED showed him of Mary's death.

Nice work, Kripke.

Excellent points, Ailleann. No, the YED storyline didn't end with his death, did it?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Question: Some people on LJ call YED Stan--why?

Was that the name on his janitor's uniform, maybe? (goes to check)

Nope. It's a name tag, and I can't read it.

I want to say that that's Refur's fault. I shall go and check.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh, no. That storyline in no way was wrapped with the bullet between the eyes of YED's stolen body. (It was between the eyes, yeah? Oh! I could rewatch and check. Or just let you all correct me if I am remembering wrong.)

I could totally get behind the idea that there are lingering effects. Especially in fic, because we can break our toys there and still come back to canon later.

No, the bullet was in the vicinity of the heart. And I wish to heaven CGI people would learn where the hell on the human body the heart is actually located.

Fairly certain it was middle of the forehead, smack between the eyes. Edit: I'm wrong, Bev is right. Smack in the heart. Crack freakin' shot. As well he should be, he was training for it his whole life.

(Hello. My name is Dean Winchester. You killed my mother. Prepare to die. *bang* Asshole.)

I have that icon! (It doesn't say "Asshole" but it *should*)

Obviously a finale rewatch is going to be in my future ... future.
