I'm not offended, but I don't see it as toothless. I believe that putting an official timeline and system in place will have a measurable impact on the viability and attendance of future F2Fs. That's why I proposed it.
By toothless, I meant that there was nothing forcing Buffistas to follow the proposed timeline. But I totally agree that having the timeline in place will help.
I know this sort of thing has been said before, but I adore you all. I adore you individually, and collectively. I say this specifically here and now, because in 99% of other communities on the internet and in meatspace, this discussion would have long since ceased to be discussion, shot right through kerfuffle territory, and have set up camp deep in the Land of Bitter Recriminations, in its capitol, Schism City.
Maybe I'm a little sensitive to this due to personal events of the past week, but I'm not sorry to be saying this.

I looked back and it seems Dec 1st is opening day for Goodbye and Good Riddance. Like smonster, I got a goodie and want to thank my Secret Santa.
