Dudes, if we've established a voting period, we established a voting period. This is why we need a cheesebutt document posted.
There's no point having a quorum if you just leave the vote open until you get it.
When we were working on the cheesbutt document, I wrote a really short summary of all the "rules"-- how many votes, how many days, etc. Is that somewhere within the current cheesbutt document or does anyone maybe still have it? Because I feel like that could be posted. I think the cheesbutt, with the whole history of who said what and why we do it this way is great, but maybe we could just get something simple posted. If anyone has cheesbutt, you can send it to me, and I can do a really short "rules" summary again if we don't have it in existence (problem is that I now forgot the rules and can't do them from memory.
Why is it called cheesebutt?
OK- I will work on something short. Is there any reason this is not up already, though-- my memory is failing?
I think we were talking about making that part of the FAQ, or at least a link.
I just turned in my last set of confirming pages for this nightmare project.
I will turn in my proposed revision of the FAQ by the end of next week. I feel I must warn that my cuts are radical. I find much of it completely irrelevant at this point.
Yeah, why is it called cheesebutt?
I think we were talking about making that part of the FAQ, or at least a link.
I kind of figured that out once I started reading and though a) this should be part of the FAQ and b) this is really long.
I think that the "rules" should be clear and separate from the document that gives us all the history. megan, have you put this information into the FAQ already, perhaps in a less wordy form, or is it worth it for me to de-wordify it?
The cheesebutt refers to the author's ass, if memory serves.
It was never approved, if memory also serves, and it was never formatted for presentation, and it's now way out of date.
