Google is killing the functionality that currently allows us to publish automatically to buffistas.info. I haven't had time to look into what they suggest as alternatives, but we'll have to switch something up for March 26th.

Is there a reason we need to have blogger-by-ftp rather than pointing the domain to a hosted blog? That's still doable on blogger, or if you want to ditch them, wordpress.com (where it's $10 (can't remember if it's once or per year) to use your own domain.

The current setup was free and quick, which was the main reason. It's being hosted by Kristen. I still haven't had a chance to look into the cost or effort of the alternative.

ita, have you taken a look at your Buffistas cpanel under "Fantastico"? There are a bunch of scripts that can be auto installed for free, including WordPress.
I'd have to upgrade your account but that wouldn't be a problem.

That would be excellent. We'll need to give all the admins posting access (I've never used Wordpress--I don't know how that works), and then we'll be good to go.
No need to preserve the posts we already have, and I'm assuming we can RSS into LJ, although I guess we'll need another feed name.
