I am struck by looking at the map how many people entered locations into their profiles that I've never seen post. Are they in the threads I don't go into, or are they lurkers? Still, it's nice to see the geographical diversity.
Europe is more peopled than I'd thought, and South America and Africa have representation, as well as more in PR. Well, Stephanie's left PR now, hasn't she?

For some reason I am in the middle of the pacific. I moved myself back to Florida, but it didn't stick.

I had in the past, but for some reason my location had my name there. Huh, fixed.
And she's gone from the middle of the Pacific, leaving Australia and Thailand just a little bit lonelier.
So many people there I don't know.
We should have a get-on-the-map-and-say-hello-day thread thingie. Just to see how many of our 2163 current registered users stop by in a given week or month.
Let me check and see how many locations we have on the map. 256. I figure we have about 100 posters, 200 readers in a week, but those are off the top of my head numbers.

Okay. I'm going to make an official proposal.
I want to make a month-long thread to encourage people to delurk, even if it's only the once, and to encourage people to put their locations in their profiles so that our map is nice and peopled. Just to get people to raise their hands.
