the rewording for Procedurals deletes "shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. " which a) is kind of key and b) was hashed out at some point. (I mean, it's obvious for this thread, others possibly not so much.) Adding currently active shows to the end of the description is no big deal, but changing the description of the thread purpose is something we didn't discuss.
It is still there. It's in the header, not the slug.
I don't follow the thread, but I actually thought that was an awesome description.
Shows we watch in Boxed set: shows mentioned originally (but much less so) - also various Stargates, Terminator:SCC, Fringe, Chuck, Doctor Who, Torchwood, SJA, LoM, Ashes to Ashes. I bet we'll discuss Being Human there when it starts airing in the US. I'm guessing that Vampire Diaries discussions will go there. And if that Fox pilot about that's like Sex in the City with Werewolves goes - probably that too.
We discussed Journeyman in there (time travel), Kings (AU), Lost in Austen (AU- time travel to a fictional place).
Does that make sense?
Spy shows, doctor shows, cop shows, pi shows go in either Procedurals or Cable Drama - depending.
(PBS is showing season 1 of MI-5 - so procedurals, right?)
Also - BSG, Caprica, Moonlight - all in Boxed set. Enterprise - when it was new. (But we didn't love it very much here.)
Premium Cable: The Cursing Costs Extra
Slug: Discussions of HBO and Showtime original programming including, but not limited to ?, ?, and ?. [NAFDA]
Header: A thread for the discussion of all HBO and Showtime original programming. What about Starz?
I think the two buffistas who watch Starz can figure out where to discuss the shows. :-)
Oh, I didn't even consider that Buffistas might be discussing Party Down. I forgot it would be in that thread.
I didn't even know Starz was still around.
Then again I haven't had cable in three years...
Starz feeds the Netflix streaming, no?
Yes.
