I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Remember that if a dedicated thread is voted down, it can't be proposed again for six months. I really really think we should hold off until at least a few weeks when we get a sense of how the show is doing.

I will be truly baffled if it gets voted down. Remember that people are still discussing Firefly and Wonderfalls years after cancellation, and both aired a handful of times. Even if Dollhouse doesn't make it, surely there will be DVDs and similar discussion. I just don't get this mindset at all.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I've seen it. I'd bet more Buffistas would be offended by it than lamenting its loss.

But I don't think this is the place to discuss the merits of the show, just whether of not it gets a dedicated thread until its demise.

Although I don't agree, I think this is a good point and should be brought up in lightbulbs during discussion.

GC, thanks for proposing. I would have proposed this thread too, but I have less than zero time to discuss/debate merits this or next week ad infinitum. Good luck.

I think we have enough seconds. Can a stompy please open lightbulbs?

Thanks, GC. Could I possibly ask you to add a bit about automatically opening a thread without a vote for Joss's shows when the show is set to air so we can avoid this conversation entirely should it happen again?

Just in case we don't have enough seconds, I'll second too. Like Glam, I will be utterly baffled if it doesn't pass.

Ha! I was also going to propose adding something along these lines once Lightbulbs was opened.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

FTR, I don't really feel like we are a Joss site.

Would really hate to have a thread per show if shows don't even make a full season. Closing show threads will be worse than establishing the voting policy. Then again, I almost never post in show threads, so maybe I shouldn't care.
