I like it in Buffy/Angel, mostly because I don't follow any of the other media, so it would be easier for me to read about in B/A. Plus, it gives the B/A thread some love.

It's a pretty weak one, as far as I can tell. The B/A thread belongs to the shows, and currently Joss. That makes sense to me.
