I can see this creating a potentially sticky situation when a family member or co-worker asks why they can't see any of the pictures in that group.
Maybe it's just because my family doesn't work like that, but, really? Do they ask to read your diary, too?
I mean, practically speaking I'd probably just go all vague. "Oh, it's just some old friends. You don't know them." But I'd be seriously fucking annoyed if anything more than that were required.
This whole conversation makes me wonder exactly what you all were doing at the F2F. (I guess I should go join the group to see.)
Not that I've gotten around to dealing with my pictures yet, but I typically publish them through my .mac account. Flickr has never really appealed to me.
I guess the really troublemaking answer is to tell them to become Buffistas and then they can join the flickr group.

Pooping, according to amych's Freudian brain.
It is so amych to link to the Librarything work page and not the Amazon page...
Natter 60: They Predicted This Back on Table Talk
(Cribbed from Steph L)
With my current track record with poisoning computers, I don't think it's a good idea I'd even try to suggest a name for a new Natter.
Yeah, sure, the server is a whole ocean away, but the Murphy grows stronger the closer the deadline, right?
