that was a long painful slog through Lightbulbs for me to pick out the few arguments specific to whether or not we should have a gaming thread. I agree with those who wished that further thread proposal discussions could stay on topic to the specific thread being proposed without the larger argument of whether more threads is good or bad having to be brought up every time. I don't think that the larger argument can ever be settled and I'd really appreciate not having to read through it in order to find the few posts that discuss the benefits and drawbacks of the particular thread being proposed.
