when I feel the urge to chat about gaming, I do so in the Other Media thread.

I guess I always perceived that as "the comic book thread." And, as I am woefully behind in many many comics, I skip and skim over the whitefont (dodging it like running through landmines) and, perhaps consequently, don't see the gaming talk.
I just wonder if there's enough interest to put such talk in its own dedicated thread.
I would second a proposal for a gaming thread. The worst that can happen if you propose it is that it doesn't get enough seconds for a vote, or doesn't pass.
True. True.
And you better second it. It's half your fault I thought of doing it in the first place!
I third gaming thread. I'm a big gamer.
This isn't a discussion for RIGHT now 'cos of that, but I also want to retable Dollhouse topic. We originally semi-agreed to look at it when shooting began, which is in a few days time. The read through is tomorrow apparently and the sets are done, and there's going to be loads of proper press for it as there's set visits aplenty booked. I've checked and it definitely still has it's 7 episode order, too.
Heh. I think if we had a gaming thread, there would probably be a very small percentage of people who would participate, but I think we'd generate enough traffic to keep ourselves entertained.
So, uh...okay. How do I go about proposing a thread again?
Do I write a manifesto? Where do I post it? Here? Press?
I'm such a n00b to this whole "participatory democracy" thing in the context of b.org...
(Psst: you need 4 seconds. You've already got two. Once you get your 4, nag a Stompy to open up Light Bulbs.)
I'll fourth it, becuase I like to see things go to vote at least. I think we need one more person to give a "yea", right?
Thanks, Nutty.
Is this written down somewhere, the procedure? I desultorily poked around a bit and didn't find it...
