You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Ginger, actually, it looks like.

On Tuesday, members of the Writers Guilds East and West voted by a 92.5% margin to lift the restraining order that was invoked on November 5th. The strike is over.

I would like to propose the return of the Random Quote Generator.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I would like to propose the return of the Random Quote Generator.

I'd like to second, third, fourth, and stuff the hell out of the ballot box.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

4 is the number, right?

Does this even have to go to a vote? I thought we agreed to keep up Support the Writers through the strike, which implies that it would come off the site once the strike ended.

Swouncing

The original ballot, in Jon B. "Sunnydale Press" Nov 13, 2007 12:02:02 pm PST said:

Add an icon to our header, replacing the random quote generator, supporting the WGA Strike.

I think that now that there's no more strike (yay!) to support, the icon for supporting it is no longer required and is supposed to be gone, so the board can return to its usual, natural (in the lack of a better word) look.

The change from the regular look was something that called for a vote, but I agree with Burrell - I don't think that returning back to the way things originally have been, once the change is no longer required, is a matter for a vote.
