Art Crawl!!!

I'm re-reading Buffy 1 and somebody mentions that "in five years they 'll all be out on videotape" - I guess dvds weren't around yet.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

DJ, you just use the "find" or "search" feature of your browser when you open the thread file. Since it's a file you have to download and use from your computer, there's no search feature like you would find on threads here on the board.

I had to go look. Looks like I delurked on Jan 2, 2003 in Buffy 2 here at the Phoenix. I still agree with me - the Mayor was a good villain. I know I found the board through a link in an article, but that's all I remember. I lurked for months before posting, and then I think I lurked again for a while.

Compassionately intolerant

I delurked Mar 22, 2004 quoting Jeff Goldblum...

"First there is the oohing and the aaahing and then there is the running and the screaming."

Pretty darned prescient considering the ensuing kerfuffle. I can't believe it's been so long ago. I'm seriously boggled.

Can't imagine spending my online time anywhere else.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just put the vote results up.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm surprised.

brillig

Maybe I should have gone for the No Preference option after all. Would have been interesting to see.

I wonder if the people who would have voted NP elected to not vote. The turnout is smaller than we had for the last vote on the SPN thread.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

On the other hand, the SPN discussion raised a lot of very strong feelings both for and against the proposal itself; this one seemed to have a lot more emotion around questions didn't have to do with the proposal at all. That makes the lower turnout not so surprising to me.

True. And it is still a higher turnout than we've had on some other recent votes.
