Saw
The Reader
last night. It was actually more compelling than I thought it would be. It is still sort of haunting me.
I also Netflixed
Wanted
and can certainly see why it was nominated for sound. Otherwise whack as a film, but, hey, Terence Stamp.
Also, you get to hear Morgan Freeman yell "Shoot this motherfucker!"
yes, and I laugh every time he say that.
I've seen the movie twice in theaters. exciting movie, not particularly good, but that line is why I stayed!
Is it better than than hearing Sidney Poitier say "motherfucker" in SNEAKERS?
Nothing's better than
Sneakers.
I love Wanted in many different ways. The only thing that bugs me about it is why can't Wesley just be Scottish?
Nothing's better than Sneakers.
As always, Megan is wise.
The whole Christian Bale profanity-riffic rant was a bit listen-from-the-hall for me, but someone went and made a freakin' techno dance remix from the ranting (like, within a day of this getting out) which is seriously the best thing ever. Hella danceable, too. [link]
I particular dig the totally random Barbara Streisand and the fuck-off-off going on between her and Bale.
Oh yes, the remix is great.
Christian Bale apologized, by the by. Seems sincere to me.
