Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Also I'll say that there was a 7 or 8 year old in the row in front of us at the screening and she did not seem to find it too scary. I don't remember seeing any kids younger than that, but it was a pretty late screening so the age range probably had more to do with bedtime than content.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Rage looks interesting, for a number of reasons.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Christian Bale loses his SHIT.

I listened to his tirade and I cannot believe it.

BTW, the tirade is not safe for work. no way.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I was never a fan of Christian Bale. After hearing that, I'm glad. What a friggin prima donna.

I'm still a fan of the actor, but the last interview I read with him made him seem like a guy I wouldn't like in person.

That clip? I laughed too much. I can't imagine what it must have been like to witness or to be the target of.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I think he needs anger management.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Holy shit. Damn, Christian. Still that mad about "Newsies"?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I really think he needs to forget this multimillion dollar action hero stuff and hang out with his wife and daughter on a beach for about six months where the most stressful thing he has to do is wave a cabana boy over for more piña coladas.
