I guess I'm not that attached to any story. If they messed up an adaptation of something dear to my heart I'd cling more tightly to the original, but as long as that doesn't go away I wouldn't be more than disappointed.
It is possible I have no heart to break. That has been previously suggested.
The current contender for Most Beautiful Woman In the World, Aishwaria Ray.

Elizabeth Taylor
Hedy Lamar
Your vote?
I'll cast a vote for Deneuve. Not for Halle, because although I can't find anything wrong with her at all, my eye doesn't really catch on her.
Now I have to go flip through my venus pictures.
Damn you, Hec.
In your list I pick Gong Li. Hott.
Ahhh, some good ones I missed, ita.
Definitely on Iman, Grace, Isabella and Vivien.
And you know how much I love Eve Salvail!
I think also Joan Chen, Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz.
As for Halle, I get what you mean. She's obviously beautiful but doesn't ping me. Not like say, Jada Pinkett or Debra Winger.
Eliza Dushku? Most beautiful Mutant Enemy Alumnus?
Gina and Morena are both very beautiful. So is Charisma. And I could more readily fall in love with AH or SMG. But I think Eliza.
I just don't believe in Gina Torres's face. It's a classic example of "Well,
I
wouldn't have put those bits together quite like that. But I'm damn glad someone else did." She's hands down the winner of that bunch for me.
Jada Pinkett hasn't pinged me in a good long time. She's all dry and hard now. I do wonder what she'd have looked like if she'd aged less athletically.
As for aging, I'm curious to see what time will do to Natalie Portman. I suspect she will wear the years very gracefully.
Natalie has exquisite bones.
I should've mentioned Isabella's mom, Ingrid Bergman.
Also Juliet Binoche.

That's true. You could nitpick the details but not the whole. Though I think with Gina a lot of it is the presence and personality coming through.
I mean, I don't think they ever would've cast a black woman in the role, but she's the only actress I've seen that could credibly be Wonder Woman.
