yeah, PL was a bit too dark for me. if it hadn't dealt with kids, I think I would have taken it all a bit better.
Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
although I have to admit, I wasn't quite sure The Fall was going to be that hopeful. It seemed pretty grim there for awhile.
Alexandria was inspiring levels of annoyance I hadn't experienced since Short Round.
Really, Matt? I thought she was fantastic and adorable.
Variety is reporting that the Fox/Warner Bros. dispute over the rights to make the Watchmen movie has been settled with a large payoff to Fox. In addition to a cash payment between $5-10 million, plus payment of Fox’s legal fees,
I saw a trailer on TV, so I figured they were getting close to settling.

DW disliked her, too. She walked out on the movie about when you did, Matt.

In this, as in many things, we have wildly divergent tastes.
So in this Terminator film, Judgement Day has already happened, it took place in 2003 like the first two Terminator films say.
cue me screaming the untruthiness of this statement. i'm fairly certain Kyle never says what date Judgement Day is in T1(i haven't seen it nearly as much as T2). in T2 Judgement Day is established as happening on August 29, 1997. i can buy that the timeline is screwed because of all the time travel and it happens later, but trying to rewrite what date the other movies use is making me crazy. made me crazy in T:tSCC too.
otherwise? i'm fucking stoked for this movie.
I loved The Fall. I admire Pan's Labyrinth, I haven't been able to bring myself to rewatch it, whereas I've watched The Fall 4 or 5 times.

This means the release of the MCR single and video from the soundtrack won't be delayed, yay!

Oh, yeah, I'm the same. I loved the little girl in the Fall!
