If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

SEAN!

I just watched the 9 trailer! SQUEEEEEEEEEEE.

Also, I saw that back when it was an animated short! There was no dialogue or plot at that point, but it was definitely the same movie. I liked it back then too.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

*Nothing* from Lord of the Rings made it in?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think I'd have dropped the scorpion monster from Howard the Duck in favor of the cave troll from Fellowship of the Ring. That's the first example of a fully CGI humanoid figure I recall interacting believably with live-action figures.

Didn't they have a number of Weta-related revolutions?

Just watched The Illusionist and disliked Eisenheim more than either of The Prestige's protagonists. I think we were supposed to be on his side. Also, too much f/x, although I understand not near as much as I initially thought. I'd like to know how little.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I just watched Shallow Grave. It was certainly interesting to see the Ninth Doctor ten years younger. And...not being anything like the Doctor.

I kind of feel bad about everything now, though.

Ooooh! I didn't know it had been a short previously. I just saw the "9" poster at Apple Trailers, and went "9? What the hell is 9?" and clicked on it. I was glad I did. They had me at post-apocalyptic, and everything after that was cream.

The short was also called 9, so if it's anywhere online it should be pretty easy to find. I think it was up for an Oscar or something (since that's almost the only way non-Pixar shorts make it into theatres).

I'ma go hunt it down now.

It's always hard to get a good read from trailers, but the story almost seems to have a bit of a Watership Down vibe to it. In a real post-apocalyptic acid trip sort of way.
