Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I don't think I could ever live at Bag End. Cozy and charming, yes, but the name would forever give me the nagging feeling that I was living in a scrotum.

You know I could live in Rivendale or Bag End.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'd love to live in a scaled up hobbit hole.

Really easy to make energy efficient too.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Peter Jackson has the full-size Bag End -- left-over from the filming. I am SO jealous.

I heard there was a hobbit-themed subdivision that just went bankrupt. I think it was somewhere in the PNW

Punishingly Intricate

I feel like the food would be much better in Bag End then in Rivendale. (Rivendale's Elfland, right?)

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Bag End looked neat, but then I think of the vermin issues of being underground with as much food on hand as a hobbit's pantry must contain...

No one for living in Minas Tirith? Think of the base jumping possibilities!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'd be up for living in Rivendell. Or Lothlórien.

“Not dead yet!”

Just got back from Australia.

Loved it.

Then again, I have an unreasonable love for all things Baz, so my opinion's probably utterly useless.
