See, I was going to suggest watching TDK first (dark) and then lightening the mood with Burn After Reading (dark, but funny) and finishing up with the gleeful Wall-E.
This was the order the timing of the various showings will work best: 12:45 for TDK, which I figure will get out about 3:30 or so, then 3:30 for Burn After Reading, getting out around 5:15, in time for the 5:10 showing of Wall-E, which will have the usual 10 minutes of previews so I can still see the whole film. That way, I can eat lunch beforehand and then go to out for Indian afterward before 7:00.
I double-checked your running times and unless your theatre shows more previews than mine you've got a good solid plan there.
I've only done a double-feature before, when ChiKat and I saw Paris je t'aime followed by Once. That was fun.
I find it hard to go dark to light, because dark takes a lot over me and I cannot enjoy the light myself, but YBMV.
The evening of watching Taxi Driver followed by Breakfast at Tiffanys on a date has haunted me for years.
Also fun was the "18 heures/18 francs" week when whatever showing started at 6pm (or so) was 18 francs and we would see a movie a day for the whole week.
I'm still freaking out about the idea of a monthly movie pass in Paris. And I heard about that years ago! Oh! From our mutual friend/classmate.
I think both major chains have the monthly pass. And, my favorite for short visits when I want to pack in a lot of movies for not so much money, the card where you prepay for 5 tickets. You can use it once with 4 friends, or use it for 5 shows on your own. It works out to where you are paying a little over 1/2 price.
Truly, Paris is a movie buff (and buffista) wonderland.

Yeah, I think after Dark Knight you won't get a lot out of Burn After Reading. I'd go with that one first if you can. Wall-E (which I haven't seen) might be enough to hold its own, though.

Sitting next to Sophia. However...

made me laugh out loud.
I'm sorry.
I think the way
Wall-e
starts out and builds has the power to follow
Dark Knight
but the short subject
Presto
in between will be awkward.

It may also cause you to nose your soda if you're drinking one, so forewarned.
