That was fun, P-C! But it needed more movies, I think.

Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
I saw Nosferatu, Psycho, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, and The Devil's Backbone.
I saw the first three you mentioned (and thank you, Film 101 for the third one), as well as Cat People and I think The Sixth Sense.
I didn't recognize any of the clips from the movie(s) in colour, which is ironic. From Dana's list, I guess they were from Devil's Backbone?
Of the black & white ones, I recognized I Walked with a Zombie, Nosferatu, Cat People, Psycho, and The Night of the Living Dead.

I couldn't remember the name of that. Like, I knew that clip had to be from this one really old movie with a funny word in the title, but it just wasn't coming to me.
And I can't believe I missed The Devil's Backbone ! I just watched that last year. Der.
Vonnie, I would highly recommend that movie you haven't seen. Atmospheric horror rather than gore, and just a really good movie.
I emailed myself the horror clips for later.
I am blown away by how many people can't pronounce Changeling. It seems like more than half.

In that quiz I recognized White Zombie, Nosferatu, Night of the Living Dead, The Devil's Backbone, Cat People, Psycho, and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.
There was one segment I wasn't sure of, though it might be from the first or last of the ones I listed.
