Walking I get. But power walking? Why not just run for a shorter time?

Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm still so sad about when he says "She was going to wait for me." and Alfred slips away with her note and burns it. ::sniff::

I actually ended up recounting the movie to both my parents, even though I know they only participate in straightforward fiction (ma) if fiction at all (da). They were very patient.

This breaks the heart if you know Two Face's origin story.

This is one of the reasons to see it in IMAX. Man.

Joker's just a little puppy dog.

The moment here where the Joker mouthed "Six?" was both very funny and very very him, to me.

Heath improvised this, I read.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Totally porny!

“Not dead yet!”

"Charlie, here comes the deuce. And when you speak of me, speak well."

"You told him I was gonna throw a deuce, right?"

"Yep. Man, that ball got outta here in a hurry. Anything that travels that far ought to have a damn stewardess on it, don't ya think?"

God, I love this movie.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Oh, my, do I love that film!!

"This is one hell of a season. The Bulls can't lose a game, and I can't get laid!"

I just got back from seeing Journey to the Center of the Earth with the brother and his family. We all agreed it was a decent popcorn film, but only barely. I'm glad I talked the oldest nephew out of seeing The Mummy 3, though.
