And how can you not love a movie with the line (and I'm probably going to get it backwards): "I have come to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I'm all out of bubblegum!"
I'd forgotten that line was in the movie, so it took me by surprise, and I was kind of disappointed because it sort of came out of nowhere and fell really flat for me. It was like, "Wait, suddenly you want to be a movie with action hero catchphrases? Where have you been for the last forty-five minutes?"
The fight in They Live is awesome because it goes on too long.
That reasoning is sound.
We were talking about remakes that inspire the "Why, God, WHY?!?!" reaction? [link]
Oh, dear Loward. At least he won't need a lot of make-up to play the part.
HBP movie release pushed back.
Empress is gonna lose her mind.
Mind lost. GODS DAMMIT!!!!!!!
even though I have very little enthusiasm for Clone Wars, I got a little tingly when I was putting STAR WARS up on the marquee this morning. I guess I'll always be a fan girl.
In other 'my marquee is a pita' news: whatever happened to nice sensible titles like
Jaws
and
Stripes
? Today I had to put up
Vicky Cristina Barcelona
,
Star Wars: the Clone Wars
and
Henry Poole is Here.
I almost ran out of room and boy are my arms tired.
'my marquee is a pita'
Why is it a pita?
Oh, wait. You mean a PITA.
Could be worse.
And of course, the classic:
Erin Brockovich
Screwed
My Dog Skip
(Which may or may not be an urban legend, but still.)
'my marquee is a pita'
Why is it a pita?
Oh, wait. You mean a PITA.
Ha! I had the same reaction and thought, "Hummus might help that situation."
