"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I saw TDK again over the weekend, this time at an Imax. HMOG that is a BIG movie. The shot of Batman diving off the roof in Hong Kong gave me goose bumps (and a substantial stomach dropping feeling).

It also reafirmed my admiration for the performances, especially Heath Ledger. How much of that performance was made by the delivery (as opposed to the lines themselves) is astonishing. A good example being the fact that two of the biggest laughs in the movie was his delivery of "Yeah." and "Hi.".

Art Crawl!!!

I think TDK is really excellent on IMAX. (I saw it on IMAX this weekend too.)

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

TDK rocked my socks in Imax but I was pissed as hell they showed it with no trailers. If I'm paying $12 for a matinee I want my 30 foot tall Dr. Manhattan!

But I couldn't tell which scenes were filmed in Imax.

We got a Watchmen trailer. However, the only Harry Potter trailer was the title with a few lines of voiceover/dialogue.

Ditto for us on our IMAX viewing of TDK.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

We saw the X-Files movie on Sunday. Not good, not good. However, Scully? Still frickin' hot (though I prefer the shorter cut on her)!

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

but I saw Ne le dis à personne (Tell No One) yesterday.

I saw it at a French film festival at the Boston MFA a couple weeks ago, and enjoyed it immensely. Even if Francois Cluzet looks bizarrely like a French Dustin Hoffman.

hip deep in pie

Not good, not good.

Hmmm, I thought it was not great, but not bad. And that's factoring in my belief that Amanda Peet is a female Capt. Caardboard.

The only thing that bother me was trying to figure out if West Virginia would really have all that much snow.
