Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

I love Straitharn.

He is hot in a very distinctive-to-him way.

S has worked with him a couple of times, and confirms that the hotness extends to seeing him in person.

Aaaand I have been corrected:

S never actually worked with David Strathairn. She just knew him socially from hanging out with John Sayles and his wife.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I worked at the corner of Michigan and Pearson in Chicago for 15 months and I saw John Cusack twice. nyah! (he had an apartment right above the carriage stand)

Well, my dad's friend worked with him down in south Texas. This family friend is also how I connect to Mutant Enemy people. His daughter worked for them (although I haven't seen her since she was a little girl).

Now tagless for your comfort.

She just knew him socially from hanging out with John Sayles and his wife.

Which is even better!

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Anton Yelchin has been cast as Chekhov in the new Star Trek movie.

He's cute.

refrains from pointing out that Chekov didn't even join the Enterprise crew until the second season.
