Inara: So. Would you like to lecture me on the wickedness of my ways? Book: I brought you some supper, but if you'd prefer a lecture, I've a few very catchy ones prepped. Sin and hellfire... one has lepers.

Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Hee, Jilli. I got the impression someone at Pixar had played a lot of Portal.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Ha! I didn't even make that connection, PC. I was too busy going "Bunny! Awwww, bunny! Oooh, top hat! Bunny!" Clovis is going to love it.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Isn't it WONDERFUL? And so rich, visually and emotionally. Not just the main characters are well-drawn but the supporting cast too-- I almost died from the button-pushing security machine first figuring out what a wave was and then waving madly at Wall-E and Eve when they left his area.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The army of misfit broken robots make me cry/squee EVERY TIME I THINK ABOUT THEM. I just love them so so so much!

Ann, that's a ferret.

Found: Key scenes from Metropolis. Apparently enough to consider restoration complete.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

USA Today has a short piece on the new Harry Potter film: [link] They also link to a bunch of new stills from the film.

Dude. Look how tall Neville's gotten in picture #5. He looks Jack Davenport-ish.
