Zoe: Planet's coming up a mite fast. Wash: That's just cause, I'm going down too quick. Likely crash and kill us all. Mal: Well, that happens, let me know.

Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Mediocrity so banal it will take your breath away!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Titanic is the tragic love story of a dude (SPY DADDY DODD EX!) and a ship. There's some B plot about whiny kids in star crossed love or some crap, and it takes up way too much time, but the dude and ship parts are weep-worthy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But Plei, how do you really feel?

Her heart will go on.

As will her typing.

She's going to hate us when she gets back and sees this.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I liked that organized crime only happened in the 20th century.

Before that? DISorganized.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Before that? DISorganized.

Well, hell, why didn't they just say so? All my crime is disorganized before at least 10 in the morning, regardless of what century it is.
