Wasn't rated R was it?
No, it was PG. And pretty much the reason that the PG-13 rating was invented after the furor over it being PG.

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

that's hilarious. plus? you really do learn something new every day!
First R-rated movie I saw in the theater was My Cousin Vinny. Pretty good introduction to creative cursing.
I think mine was The Shining.
I think mine was Welcome to America.
The Exorcist.
Mine was Stripes.
Flashdance!
Blade Runner
Wow I'm surprised HAIR was PG. I went to 5th grade the next day and told everyone how cool drugs and hippies are. I think that makes my first R-rated feature An Officer and a Gentleman. Mom wanted to see it. I can't believe at 13 years of age I was still so dense I thought they were just having a horizontal conversation during the sex scene.
