But honestly, I loved both films and am looking forward to the next one.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
We had the Cloverfield trailer before Transformers. Completely blanked it from my mind, though. I think the city destruction scenes from the latter overlaid it.
Now, if we're talking irritating filming styles then unsteadicam is right up there on the list for me.

I may have mentioned before but my favorite part of the first Bourne movie was when he removes the fire escape map of the building from the embassy wall. *That* was clever and got my attention.

I loved both of the Bourne movies, and I can't wait for the third one. The camerawork didn't bother me at all, and I didn't read the books, so I have no idea how much stuff got cut for the scripts.

(I am sure people will chime in with similarities between the books and movies, but you get the idea. They are only loosely related.)

Again, I have no idea if Damon fit the part as written in the novels, but he worked beautifully for me as Bourne. He's got that slightly military look, he's in perfect shape, not alarmingly gorgeous (in terms of being able to look different as needed), and really able to get across his conflict when he has to look at his life and vocation from a new perspective.
