hee! I just saw Logan's Run is shipping to my roommate today from Netflix. I wonder if he has any idea what sort of movie it's going to turn out to be.
Heh. At least Flash Gordon knew it was campy.
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Well, yeah. It had to build an on-set camp factory, having already used up the world's supply before production wrapped.
Ha - before I clicked, I assumed you were talking about this.
LOL looks interesting but it's got a crappy rating on imdb. Would you recommend it?
Oh, I haven't seen it. I only know it exists because one of the predictions on Buzz Out Loud for 2008 was "a major movie studio will release a film whose title is a netspeak acronym (along the lines of "You've Got Mail")" and a listener sent in the link pointing out that it had already happened (though not from a major studio).
Obviously, LOL did poorly because cats were not featured prominently.
They should release OMGWTF, if only for it to make a gazillion dollars, requiring the production of the sequel OMGWTF 2: Electric BBQ.
I'm digging the new teaser poster for Dark Knight
