Is it wrong that I'm dying to see Good Luck Chuck?
Nothing involving Clumsy Jessica Alba can be wrong. Even with that guy I don't like very much.
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

I just hope the pratfalls in the trailers are not the best parts of the film. I laugh my ass off every time I see one.
It definitely looks funny. I don't know about dying to see it, but it certainly looks like a fun time (and hopefully Dane Cook can try not to be annoying: i.e. himself.)
aww...i like Dane Cook.
I know less about him than apparently everybody in America, because I have no opinion on him at all.
But seriously, combine Jessica Alba with endearing clumsiness (one of my Top Five Traits for Girls to Have) and I'm hooked.
I was trying so hard to figure out why I hated his character so much in Mr. Brooks (which I LOVED), and then I realized who he was afterwards.
If you need to torture me for information, just about any recent movie with Alba will do.
You may die trying to get me immobilised all Clockwork Orange style, but if not, I'll surely cave within moments.
I like Dane Cook, too. Didn't see Mr. Brooks but I loved him in Employee of the Month.
Went to see The Brave One. Jodie Foster is really terrific, as is Terrence "Mr. Clean" Howard, but the script is a cliche-fest. I do so want Foster to be in something as good as she is, but this isn't it.
Saw Shoot 'Em Up which is...well, exactly what I'd expected, and more. They don't let too much time go past before they explain the sort of movie they are, and then they go on to be so much more of it--deliberately overdoing just about everything. Gunfight scenes? Been done. No, really. They have now all been done. Might as well skip them. Also gunfight scenes combined with other things, like delivering babies or having sex --also totally done. Move right along.
So totally over the top. Can't but laugh.
