Well, I'll whitefont this, but I read a bit about EASTERN PROMISE and Cronenberg said
while they were working the logistics of a fight in a bathhouse, Viggo just said (paraphrasing) "I'll just lose the towel and go nude" knowing full well that Cronenberg was going to be filming whold body shots, not just upper.
So there's that.
Well I just watched Superman II: the Richard Donner cut. Hmm. It seemed pretty ...bad. I never saw the theatrical release so maybe that was much worse. There were a couple of entertaining bits and Gene Hackman is always good. Maybe the effects are just too dated. At least I finally know where "kneel before Zod" comes from.
DH had his corporate fun day at work today. They got lunch and got to see Stardust. He hated, natch, since he's not a big fantasy fan. He told me I'd love it.
The irony hurts.
Having advised someone to subject her boyfriend to Before Sunrise and Mary Poppins as revenge for making her watch shoot-em-ups, am I morally obligated to offer free board if they break up as a result?
B3ta is doing another movie-related image challenge: monkeys!
I saw War. Staitham is always pretty, but otherwise, the movie is: "eh".
The Hollywood Video that I normally rent movies from is closing and having a sale, so I just dropped 40 bucks on the following:
Stealing Time with Scott Foley
Mr. Fix-it with David Boreanaz
These Girls with Caroline Dhavernas and David Boreanaz making out
Living til the End with Sean Maher and Jamie Ray Newman making out
Wedding Wars with Sean Maher and John Stamos making out
Wild Roommates with a bunch of unknowns making out, and
a UFC DVD featuring NHL player Patrick Cote (I assume no one is making out in this, though I'm willing to be proven wrong...)
Which should I watch tonight after dinner?
