You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Hee, oh yeah, Allison's clothes are just so...so...um. I do like her singing, but I'm afraid the guys are enough ahead of her that while she may be in the top 4, she won't take it. Lil was a hot mess and it wouldn't suprise me if she goes this week. Which is sad, because I think she's a good singer, she just doesn't really have a clue how to package herself or take advice. She just wasn't ready for AI, yet.

Because books.

So true. She's got a fantastic voice, but it doesn't seem to work for her unless she can really belt something.

Because books.

Wow, Donna Summer, heavily represented tonight. Which I love. Now I wish I had my Donna Summer on CD rather than (gasp!) vinyl.

Anoop would look so much better if he did a Sayid (Lost) thing, you know? Longer hair, ripped jeans, a little scruff (not the measly mustache). But he still performs like a wedding singer for me.

I'm going to say the top three will be: Adam, Danny, and Kris.

Has any season every been so heavily weighted with guys?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Who else was in it the Ruben/Clay year? I think the third was a woman but they all kind of run together for me.

I can see Allison in the top 3. I actually have been trending downward on Danny - he's sort of one-note to me. (He was originally my favorite.)

Have y'all noticed Adam almost always gives kudos to the musicians or arrangers? It's both professional, and I think, honestly humble.

Two go home tomorrow - I think Lil is a given and then it's a tossup between Matt and Anoop. I personally hope it's Anoop. I am tired of the college a capella flashbacks he makes me have.

Thrive to spite them

I really liked Kris, I think he's the dark horse of the season in the sense that no one really saw him as a strong contender. My original pick for final 4 was Alexis, Allison, Danny, and Adam. But with Alexis gone it's going to be Allison, Adam, Kris, and Danny. Personally I think it should be Allison, Kris, and Adam in the top 3. I'm just not that keen on Danny, he's nice but he's sort of.. boring in a way.

I think the save for Matt was a bad choice, he's just not the caliber they want him to be so I figure tonight's bottom 3 will be Lil, Anoop, and Matt. I hope Lil and Anoop go home.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

on twop, they speculate that they saved Matt last week because they didn't want to be in a position to save Anoop this week (the last opportunity they would have for a save).

I guess Simon might have said this last week.

I know. The kid is just a class act all the way.

le_nub, I think you hit the nail on the head. I'd have hated to see them have to save Anoop.

That was quick. I guess with 2 they can't drag it out too much.
