Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

It seems like they have a really good group this year. I don't know if I'm just remembering wrong, but it seems like a better start than last year. Didn't see the first year, though, so can't compare to that. I was a bit disappointed with Benjy's dance. I love him, but the underwear thing just didn't fit with the rest of the dance, I thought.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Yeah! Top ten!

I was surprised at the male bootee, but not unhappy.

Yeah, I thought they might take the opportunity to shift the couples around.

Also, I too was surprised at Benji's underwear gag. What happened to the "I don't know if my church group will approve of my being on this show" innocence?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Top Ten! Wh00t!

Thrive to spite them

Benjy's dance was weird. The red gloves and flag underwear were wrong.

I thought they should have sent home the first guy who danced, definitly not Ricky, who I think got sent home more because he was "weird" than dancing ability.

I guess traveling around the world dancing will do that to you, if the show didn't already last year! Totally agree about the gloves and undies. That dance was just weird.

Art Crawl!!!

I've heard of Master Chef, but I don't think I've seen it. (Well, they're running it in the middle of the day during the week. I can't watch that.)

I'm watching many, many cooking shows today. Also -- I saw an episoe of "Take Home Handyman" with Andrew Dan Jumbo. Yes!

Thrive to spite them

I only watch Master Chef because of the dvr. I also watch Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Yay! New thread.

Jumping right in: OK, why hasn't Ramsay gone seriously off on Aaron yet on Hell's Kitchen? Is he scared of inducing a coronary (not an unlikely prospect, sadly - the guy's a mess)?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Aaron needs the kind of assistance that Ramsay cannot provide. Where are the team of mental health professionals when Aaron needs them?
