Ramsay's not as yell-y on Nightmares. Unless the chef/staff are being really stubborn and stupid and trying to cling to their ways that have brought their restaurant to the brink of failure.
I wonder if viewers are going to be disappointed, because that's what Fox is emphasizing in the ads. Personally, I think he's great when he's just giving out advice and experiences, but it may not be what the general crowd is tuning in for.
Well, I expect there will be enough idiocy to set him off on occasion, but it would be interesting to see him being helpful and supportive, rather than keeping the pressure high.
I've got this really warped view of Ramsay, because the only thing I've ever seen him in was him with his mother. And although there was some yelling, it was mostly made of awww.
Was it where she beat him in the cook off? Love.
I love Kitchen Nightmares Ramsey. I think in a lot of ways, he is like that with Julia now. Even last night when he was getting on her about the fish he wasn't as bombastic as he can be.
Man, that's an episode of the F Word that I wish I'd seen!
What were they cooking?
I have to watch the rest of the "Snake Wrangler" episode on
Dirty Jobs
-- what I saw was prime. "Big. snake. What phrase would I use to describe the snake? Big. Big snake."
Besides, I love any job description that includes "wrangler."
Plus, hey, Mike Rowe shirtless! And, at the end, totally nude, except for that strategically placed black dot!!
Great article about Danny and SYTYCD: [link]
he he ... the Post had a review of Singing Bee in yesterday's paper. Offhand, I'd say he didn't like it.
