I'm with the judges on this one, unfortunately. Antonia has always slid by on the fact that her food tastes good, but I have never seen her put together anything I would consider fine dining. (I'm looking through various food blog ep guides in another window to see if there's something I'm forgetting.) She's an excellent home-style cook. And I'm sure the food at her restaurant is very welcoming and comforting, but as much as I dislike Lisa as a person, I think she is the better chef. Her misses are bigger because her aims are higher. And because she's a defensive asshole with a chip on her shoulder a mile high.
That said, if she wins, I will cry. Because Stephanie and Richard are just so fucking awesome I can't stand it.
My biggest fear is that both Richard's and Stephanie's worst moments were in the Quickfire challenges. The Quickfire next week is an elimination, right?
Granted, I can't remember if sourpuss has done well in the Quickfire's or not, and I know Richard's nailed a few (this time out being Stephanie's first win of one).
I don't think that there is a quickfire next week. Next week all three will be cooking their meals. At least, that is what I expect based on past seasons.
Oh, that's good. I remember somebody posting the phrase "Quickfire elimination" and assumed they did a Quickfire next week to get the final 3 down to a final 2 (haven't seen prior seasons).
I did - and I meant what happened this week - although, they didn't run it that way. (Remember season 1 where Dave was eliminated?) I guess in season 2 they ran it more like a regular episode and . . uh Man, the sky is black out. . . scary.
Yeah, sumi, from what I'm hearing on the news I'd stay away from the windows for a little while.
The radar shows stuff west and north of me - but seriously - it's right on top of us here. And yet, (which makes it creepier) nothing is happening. No rain, no wind, nothing.
The judges speak to the sous chefs.
