Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I think Cedric got the sympathy vote. If Mary Murphy hadn't been such a bitca, I don't think he'd be staying.

Mary might have been part of it, but I think the main thing that saved him was his speech. I was kind of afraid this would happen. It was a great speech, but he really should have been the one going home. I am so very bummed about Jesus. It really should have been Cedric, but if it had to be one of the three, it should have been Neil. Bummed. So bummed.

Kind of bummed about Jessi too. I didn't like her audition, but I've liked her more and more, and her 30 second dance was the best of the women's tonight, I think. And if they cut her loose because of her health, they should have said so.

some people found her on myspace and said that she had a baby and had gotten married since last year's audition.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think last night's eliminations were atrocious! I am pretty ambivalent about Cedric making it through. I think the judges created the situation, but I also wonder (I'm a conspiracy theorist, but I swear I'm not wearing tinfoil today) if Mary's rant wasn't calculated to keep him there. I think the SYTYCD tour would benefit greatly with Cedric there. People might buy tix to see him perform whereas a couple of the others who've been eliminated, not so much.

I would like to know who the fuck prefers Neil to Jesus. I mean damn. Neil can do a trick or two, but he is so lacking in personality. And his partner's solo was ridiculously bad.

I don't like Neil and was hoping he would go home, but I really didn't think Jesus's solo last night was anything to write home about. He could have done much better. And, even though I wanted Jessi to go home, I do think that, based on her solo, she got the shaft. It was far better than the other three.

Jessi's cut was harsh. They didn't wish her luck with her dancing, her health or anything else. It was almost like they were mad at her. I wonder which judge wanted her to stay?

I wonder what the back story is on Jessi. Did the judges think she was faking illness? Was she faking illness, or overplaying it? Was she ill because she did something wrong (like use drugs or something - I'm thinking stimulants or something, not street drugs - something that would be tempting as you're working hard and relying on little rest)? I agree they seemed angry with her, and I think there's more to it all than we were told.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

yep. I think there is some behind the scenes stuff going on as to the reason she was cut. I also wonder if they were running over time and that's what made Nygel's comments so brief.

apparently, this was the second time Jessi was hospitalized for "dehydration" in the past few weeks.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Yeah, Jessi seemed really put out. It seemed like the reaction of someone who had been asked for something she was unwilling to give -- resentful-- though I don't know why I feel that way. Danny was PISSED that he supplanted Cedric.
