Lindsey: Why--why did you... Lorne: One last job. You're not part of the solution, Lindsey. You never will be. Lindsey: You kill me? A flunky?! I'm not just...Angel...kills me. You...Angel... Lorne: Good night, folks.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Both she and Antonia seem like people I'd be friends with.

Totally. Antonia has some of the best lines in the interviews.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I can't believe Dale is gone and Spike and Lisa are still there! Seriously! Dale's an ass but a better chef that the other two!

Dale kept getting teamed with the wrong people. When he worked with Richard, he was great (I can't remember if he ever worked with Stephanie or Antonia). Though I gotta agree - that scallop dish sounded VILE! I gotta think that Spike's Machiavelli act is going to catch up with him eventually (right? please?), and Lisa is cruising on nothing but fumes at this point, but I do worry because both Richard and Stephanie have occasionally done singularly misconceived dishes before (like Dale's butterscotch scallops). Ugh - I hate the thought of either Hatass or Lisa in the final four, which is now inevitable, let alone in the final 3 or 2.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Top Chef:

Dale kept getting teamed with the wrong people.
Yeah, that's true, but that's partially Dale's own fault because he was assy early and people think that he's going to be a problem on a team. It was a huge advantage for Antonia to be able to pick her team for Restaurant Wars (which wasn't a trainwreck, whoo!), and Dale saw the short end of that.

Anyway, I cannot believe we're still stuck with both Lisa and HatAss. Gah.

As for this crew, can we just send them all home now?

That's what the friends I was watching with said too!

Art Crawl!!!

Oh, Lisa seriously believes that she never makes mistakes with her food. And yet. . .

I'm so excited that Stephanie won and won a great prize.

I hope that Lisa goes next week. Hey, she made her goal.

I recorded AI (so I could FF through the boring crap) and forgot about the whole "oh this is going run over" part. Which meant that I got to the end, Ryan Seacrest said the winner was "David--" and the recording cut off.

I shit you not.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I can't believe that either Spike or Lisa are going to end up in the final four. SO WRONG.

Okay, the preview shot of all five of the remaining cheftestants holding hands while facing judges table is kind of freaking my shit out. That's a sight I'd never expect to see in a million years. I wonder what that's about.

I'm wondering about next week, too. It looked like Tom was working front of house or something.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I can't believe that either Spike or Lisa are going to end up in the final four. SO WRONG.

I know. I mean, seriously, has Spike done anything memorable besides be an asshat? And Lisa ... oh, dear god, she needs to go. The degree to which she's blind to her own faults is staggering. And she was totally a complete tattle-tale in school, wasn't she? The pair of them are truly horrid.

Stephanie, Richard and Antonia I'm all right with.

Man, I hope Bourdain does a blog for this episode. I cannot WAIT.
