For such an awesome season, that reunion show sucked ass! I mean, they normally do, but that was a particular let down. Did Parvati/Cirie/Amanada talk for more than 10 minutes? At least Cirie and Parvati both looked beautiful. Amanda looked insane with the Farrah-hair, but maybe that's what dating Ozzy does to you.

Ah, well. Still a quality season of Survivor.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I really enjoyed the season, even if it was hard to root for anyone after Penner. Still entertaining. The winner was disappointing. Parvati is a mean girl, and god, such undeserved boasting. What blindsides did she mastermind, *really*? Cirie did Ozzy and Erik, and, from what I recall, it was her idea to get Jason. Amanda did Alexis. Parvati took advantage of getting rid of Ozzy, which was a real move. But she doesn't deserve Eliza's vote. I really wanted to know what that was all about.

Totally agreed. I was so down for the Cirie win and when she went out,

then I had to go for Amanda. But Cirie was totally the mastermind. She played a hell of a game. Again. I was sad that she still seemed so sad at the reunion. She should be damn proud.

Also, Penner looked BEAUTIFUL. That is one fine looking man. And though I did enjoy Peachy dismissing Fairplay's stint on the show out of hand, why did we have to see Michelle and the baby (who both looked busted, truth be told) anyway? And the irrelevant story about whojimawatsit hooking up with some other Survivor from some season I don't even remember all thanks to the mad matchmaking skillz of Fairplay? Why waste my time like that? Why waste Peachy's time when he could've drooled over James' abs some more?

Penner, Penner, Penner! We need more Penner.

I'm glad I will soon have an HD teevee, because this show was made for it.

True that. I am very excited for Gabon. Even if the cast is not up to snuff, the scenery should be stunning. And I've been waiting for them to go back to Africa.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I was really hoping Amanda would take Cirie. And they seemed to be setting it up that way, but no dice.

Maybe there was a lot of Parvati acting smarter than we saw that was left out of the final edit? Because everyone on the jury seemed to take for granted that she really was a power player, and not just riding Cirie's coattails.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I suspect Cirie's subtle game backfired on her, actually. She was behind a lot of shit, and never really got fingered for it. Which kept her there for a long time, but meant that people really didn't know how much of the last few weeks was her doing.

I'm also thinking about what Parvati said about intending to be under the radar and realizing right away that it wasn't going to work. I think Cirie was at the bottom of most of her early alliances, and it had something to do with her not really jumping into the game full strength right from the beginning.

Still, I'm sorry she seemed so angry. And I think Amanda could have done a much better job at countering her points - nobody promised not to vote for Cirie because she was never seriously on the chopping block. And Amanda would've been out herself if she hadn't saved her own ass a couple of times. Cirie was hardly at the bottom of the 5-women alliance. If Amanda hadn't bought into the whole BFF story so hard, she could've argued her case a lot better.

None of this explains Amanda's hair though. Also - that was some cracked out shit at the last tribal. Ozzy? What the hell? And I don't even know what was going on with Natalie.

Yeah, I wondered about that too - seems like a pretty obvious thing to bring up!

Ozzy? What the hell?

Your guess is as good as mine.

Natalie freaked me out at the final TC! WTFF?

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Finally watched this morning, and wow, I totally thought it would go to Amanda. Although, upon reflection, I don't really see why I thought it should go to her over Parvati. Neither really shined at the final tribal council. I can only guess that Amanda pissed off a number of people with the way she played the immunity idol.

I didn't see the whole reunion though, who voted for Amanda besides Ozzy and Erik?

I wouldn't have been disappointed with any of the final three winning, but I don't think Cirie was the strategy player. I think she was the go-along, fly-under-the-radar player, just as she was in her season. The only real strategy I remember her clearly initiating was the Erik necklace move. She was never in danger and never had to scramble to save her ass like the other two.

Although I hate that Parvati sucked at challenges, she was the one who brought in Alexis and Natalie, and I think that was the key move that got them to the final three.
