To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I was happy for Dale - even though Dale is an asshat. (Could you possibly have apologized without taking that next, totally wrong-headed step?)

Eh, Dale is tempremental and has poor people skills, but I don't think he's as much of an asshole as some, notably Spike (and assHAT is an awesome nickname for him.)

My CrazyAndy love was instantly renewed with the football helmet. I'd probably hate him, except that he constantly brings good food to the table.

And yeah, I'm on the Stephanie bandwagon. Like Harold, she's the real deal.

Art Crawl!!!

Plus, the bonus to Andrew's football helmet is that it got stuck on his EARS!

That was totally awesome. It's like he stepped out of some wacky stoner flick.

Because books.

Oh, me too. I like Antonia, too, although the "fat men drinking beer" comment made me cringe.

The best was Gail saying, "Okay!" and WALKING AWAY. Heh.

Trust my rage

I hadn't really noticed the whole "talking down to/about the midwesterners" thing until it was mentioned here but once I started looking for it, it's pretty obvious. Not all Chicago fans are "fat men drinking beer" and if they are, that's doesn't mean they don't enjoy good food.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Okay, my new spike name is assHAT. I mean, he was even wearing a hat in the bathtub @@

This? Is perfection.

Punishingly Intricate

I loved all the old football players at the event. Ones I'd heard of even! You could tell Dale was pretty freaking excited about it as a fan!

I know! Gayle Sayers! And Richard Dent! That was cool. Dale definitely went fanboy for a minute.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

And you know that he's going to go to games wearing his Top Chef jersey. I'm glad he won. The jersey wouldn't have really meant anything to anyone else.

Art Crawl!!!

Yeah, that's why I was so happy that he won - he was such a fanboy.
