Yes, after seeing the full piece, I'm even more impressed with what Melanie and Pasha did last night. It was basically a whole new routine.

Have to say, I wasn't all that impressed w/Jessi tonight. I thought the routine was much better last night. Still fine with either Jessi or Lauren going home tonight. I can't speak on the Cedric thing. If Jesus gets taken out this week (which I think is very possible), I will be a very unhappy camper.

The judges did this. They've now created this situation where I fear Cedric will never be voted out because people feel sorry for him. A good male dancer is going to have to go home tonight because of this. Their focus on him last night was overkill.

ETA: Lauren's going to go home. That wasn't very impressive, at all.

Actually, I'm not very impressed with any of the solos so far.

Lauren, I just don't get it. She's not all that great.

Neil was just a packet full of tricks. There was no dancing there. A couple of fouette turns, but that's about it.

Sarah was ok, I guess. Extra points for busting out the old school Queen Latifah.

Chuy = Love. I'm already sad because I think he's going home.

I'm waiting for Anya and Jessi. Anya is sweet, but she's so new to anything other than ballroom and that just doesn't present well in a solo. And Jessi, well, hopefully she'll keep the panties covered tonight.

Thrive to spite them

I'm fine with Neil going home, he'd be my choice after Cedric. But the judges have got to lay off Cedric. Hopefully next week they'll focus on Shawna's dancing and not say anything about Cedric. There's really nothing they can say without getting him more votes.

Between Chuy and Neil, I'd send Neil home. He's got technique and that's all. Every dance he's done has failed in interpretation. It doesn't help that Lauren isn't a standout performer. Neither of them can pick the other one up on their weak spots.

That wasn't what I expected at all!

information libertarian

Neil comes across very young, no soul.

I HATE Jessi. She is actually a decent dancer, and she's grabbed fans with the whole "dehydrated/heart problem" thing, and I HATE HER.

Jessi's was better than last week, but it's a style of dancing that just doesn't get me going.

Danny really stands out. He better not leave.

I thought the same thing!
