I thought she was heading towards complete salt overload, but obvisouly she mitigated that somehow.
Didn't she say she used maple syrup also? Which made me think it might taste something like a less sweet version of the candied bacon someone brought to a Chinese New Year party I was at last year (year of the pig, of course!). Man, that's some of the best stuff I've ever had in my mouth! Just bacon tossed with brown sugar and baked in the oven. omgsogood!
Cat Cora did something similar on ICA this weekend - bacon coated with a brown-sugar-spice mixture. She called it "pig candy."
From Gail's blog:
Don’t think for an instant the judges have not noticed Lisa’s negativity and the perpetual look of misery on her face.
I wonder how that will come into play in the future.
I hate that there is a negative Lisa!!!
So I hear Nancy Wilson did a no-handed cartwheel on Idol last night!

My mother does that at holidays. Yummmm.
Jesse! I did not read the quoted text above:
My mother does that at holidays
and thought you meant that your mother, like Nancy Wilson evidently, does no-handed cartwheels!
Ha! That would be seriously impressive. But no. Actually, I doubt those two things could coexist in the same household -- sweet and spicy bacon with ariels...
I think that the sweet and spicy bacon should be served wtih ariels - what would the difficulty of that move be?
I wasn't watching the Heart thing all the way through, but I did see Fergie doing cartwheels during the song. If any of the Wilsons did cartwheels I would be surprised.
