Zoe: I thought you wanted to spend more time off-ship this visit. Wash: Out there is seems like it's all fancy parties. I like our party better. The dress code is easier and I know all the steps.

Fuck! I was PRAYING they'd send Spike and his FUCKING STUPID FUCKING HATS on his merry fucking way!

Having not watched this show before this season, let me guess - they tend to keep the alpha assholes of the losing teams around rather than the beta nice folks? I guess it makes better television.

Wow. Getting more worked up about this than I usually am about this kind of show. Hmm, maybe that = compelling television after all.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Big Brother is making me laugh and laugh and laugh.

I can't believe Joshuah thinks he can cry well, or that Adam bought it.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Yeah, Spike boot is long overdue. Although, really, what a bunch of sour lemon, sore losers. You know that team Willie Wonka's flavor combos did not taste good, do you Zoe? 100% sure bout that? Eww. There has been some really poor sportsmanship on display in that losers lounge this season. When Dale comes off as one of the less douche-y people in the episode? That's not good. Where's Miguell to hiss at folks when you need him?

ION, I swear I'm trying to get excited about this Bravo dance show, but I can't. Which is crazy talk because I LOVE dance shows. (DWTS doesn't count because it is not a dance show) Is it Elizabeth Berkley? Is it the fact that the dancers look about a million years old - and not that good? I'll be watching tomorrow night. But I'm not nearly as excited as I should be.

yeah. I think that Manuel got sent home on the weakness of his earlier works. I mean, he didn't even distinguish himself in the Mexican challenge and that's his specialty.

I can't believe they kicked off Claire on ANTM!!! I mean, I knew she was too old to make it as a model, but DAMN! And Lauren, much as I love her, is NOT going to suddenly get more graceful. Also, stupid judges, it's not that she lacks self-confidence, it's that she is NOT GRACEFUL. And that's not something that a shot of "hey, I kick ass!" is going to fix easily. Send her for a year of dance classes and bring her back next season. GAH.

I'm not enthused about the remaining girls. I think Kataryzna's new haircut is silly (sure, cut her hair right BEFORE a trailing shit in the water shoot!). And I just want to smack Dominique so hard. And while I feel bad for Whitney as the plus-sized girl, it's not like she didn't know that would happen at the go-sees. (I was also glad to see the one designer say that Fatima was too skinny!!)

Well, I think since the opening episode, Dale has been one of the better ones to take constructive criticism as it is given and work with it, as opposed to taking it as a personal affront like so many of the others have. So while he came across as arrogant, I think he's got a good attitude towards what the judges say. Or he may just, you know, have watched prior seasons and is playing the game the way the judges call it.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Or he may just, you know, have watched prior seasons and is playing the game the way the judges call it.

Whichever it is, he hasn't really brought it until this episode. Before last night's Quickfire, he's been a lot of talk and not much to back it up.

Zoe hadn't really pinged me until last night -- that 100% not good comment was petty. Don't much care for people who denigrate others to feel better about themselves. (I kinda give Crazy Andy a pass for the swipe at Dale, because, well, he's mad as a hatter. And also, Quickfire aside, Andy and Richard had been doing better than Dale all along, so I think there was some truth in the statement.)

I keep expecting to hate Richard more, but I find I don't. Possibly because he's clearly talented, in ways other "molecular gastronomists" on this show haven't been.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

As usual, I haven't watched the ep yet, but this year's crop of chefs is definitely whinier than previous years. The immaturity on display has been driving me batty.

True, but he was also the only one on the Red team last week who didn't strike me as an overtly condescending douche (but with Spike and Andrew shouting, maybe I just couldn't hear him) or an insufferable whiner ("Don't WANNA to make Pasta Salad! DON'T! WANNA!" *stamps foot* )

Because books.

Richard and Dale are actually growing on me. They seem at least, for now, to be pretty levelheaded. Zoe, on the other hand, made me furious last night. Whiny. Sore. Loser.

I still can't take Andrew, though. Oompa Loompas? Seriously? And what's with Markwise's partner, who proposed Dumb and Dumber as a film inspiration? At a dinner party for a film critic? Seriously? Not to mention this gem: "He's from New Zealand, or New England, or ... where is he from?"

New England? SERIOUSLY?
