um, I think David A. (AI) cannot dance. Check him out during the main dance number.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
The "It's Tricky" ad was unfortunate - mostly because of the music.
I just have to say how much I love Dolly Parton. I wish I'd gone to more of her concerts when I was younger. One of the highlights of my concert-going career (not a lot of them, but the ones I went to were very memorable to me) was seeing Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers at the Cow Palace in SF. Fifth row seats and it was the most awesome show I ever went to.
Dolly is as sweet as pie!
Ha! Dolly love x-post.
Dolly is awesome. Did I miss her finding Jesus, though? I mean, I knew she was a Christian, but I sort of didn't expect a song about Jesus.
Neither did Simon. Did you peep the bitchface? Simon hates Jesus.
ION, I think this is just about the perfect B3. Even though I love Brooke, you do not smile your way through Jolene.
Oh, poor Ramielle, she's been such a sweet little thing. Not the world's greatest singer, but so likable.
And she's doing a million times better with this song tonight than she did last night. Aww. That was sweet. I got a little teary eyed, and I didn't even really like her.
Still totally the right boot. Even though I do think it was the right boot, I'm surprised Syesha managed to push Brooke down into the B3. She seems to have a strong contingent of haters and she took on St. Whitney. I guess she got bonus points for degree of difficulty.

Yeah, right after I heard the song last night I thought she would get a lot of votes-- it seemed very difficult and it's, let's not kid ourselves, a hugely popular song. And then everyone was saying that she made a mistake choosing a song that people would compare her to Whitney for, but she was a'ight, dawg.
Dolly! Still love her even if I would never listen to that song.
I have to wonder why Simon still does this. He never looks interested in what's going on, rarely has anything nice to say and just brings the whole atmosphere down with his po'face. He's a big enough wig he could find someone else to do this for him.
