Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We got a stupid Tevin Campbell song about being friends. The prom is not about being friends!!!!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Richard Marx. Damn. I felt bad about The Starship, but at least we didn't have Marx. Sorry about that.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Damn, Simon surprised me. I didn't expect him to say anything good, he's been such a downer. Gotta say, the dude pulled it out. Takes a big voice for that song and I didn't think he had it, but he did. Still, big shoes to fill and he just barely pulled it off in my mind.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Do you think Brooke knows that song is about a stalker?

Because books.

Total flashback with Carly -- a friend of mine made of tape of NOTHING BUT "Total Eclipse of the Heart." Both sides, over and over. She was, um, a little obsessed.

David A. reminiscing about his youth makes me feel quite old.

Because books.

Why are half of these kids picking songs I've never heard of?

I wonder if any of the girls other than Carly are old enough to pick a Stevie Nicks song. A decent one, anyway.

Definitely liked David A.'s song much better this week than last week.

information libertarian

I swear, I used to think Michael John was skeevy, but he's growing on me. Maybe I just like him because he's the only person on this show who seems to have been born in the same decade as me!
